Color Me Rad
The color run craze is still going strong and you can get in on the action at this event while raising money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Antonio. Run, walk or skip along the course while bright-colored starch is pelted your way. Not up for running? Volunteer to help toss out the color. Sunday, 8 a.m., Freeman Coliseum, 3201 E. Hannibal Buress
A writer for the perpetually funny Saturday Night Live, Buress was named "Best Club Comic" in 2012 by Comedy Center and this weekend brings his quirky, yet hilarious take on the world to the Alamo City. Bandera FloatFest
Float down the river, compete in a watermelon-eating contest or indulge in some Texas barbecue from the Lone Star BBQ Society cook-off. Budding engineers can enter their homemade float in the “Anything That Floats Regatta” and the city’s pet-friendly park is hosting a Frisbee competition for pups and their owners. UFC Fight Night
Marvel at the martial arts skills of MMA fighters Cub Swanson and Jeremy Stephens as they duel it out during this weekend's UFC Fight Night. MMA combines kickboxing, wrestling and jiu jitsu into one demanding discipline.Saturday's Fight Night boasts a score of other seasoned fighters, matching muscle and might for an evening of intense competition.
