Big Ol' Fashioned Egg Hunt -- Saturday, March 23, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., First Evangelical Free Church Austin. Bring your picnic basket, your neighbors, and friends and come for musical entertainment and more. This event is for children of all ages and kicks off at 10 a.m. with an egg hunt for children with special needs. (4220 Monterey Oaks Blvd)

Easter Extravaganza -- Saturday, March 23, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Turner-Roberts Recreation Center. Join Turner-Roberts Recreation Center in a community event celebrating the Easter holiday with snacks, games and music for the whole family to enjoy. There will also be Easter Egg hunts for kids ages 1-12 years old, with 1st-3rd place prizes for each division. (7291 Colony Loop Dr)

Easter Eggstravaganza -- Saturday, March 23, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Givens Recreation Center. Grab your basket and hop on by Givens Recreation Center. Don’t forget your camera! The Easter Bunny will be available for photos after the EGGstravagant Easter EGG Hunt! (3811 E. 12th St.)

Search for the Lost Eggs -- Saturday, March 23, 12 p.m., Dittmar Recreation Center. Come to Dittmar Recreation Center's annual Easter event and help search for the lost eggs! Prize eggs and candy-filled eggs will scatter the field as the Easter Bunny starts the hunt. Come early to participate in Easter crafts and get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Registration begins at 12:00 p.m., and the hunt begins at 1:00 p.m. $1 per child, ages infant and up. (1009 W. Dittmar Rd)

Free photos with the Easter Bunny -- Saturday, March 23, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m., Highland Mall. Hop into Highland Mall to visit the Easter Bunny in the Spring Garden for Easter Photos in the Center Court, on the lower level near the stairs. Photos are free if you take them with your own camera and each child will receive a free gift. The Bunny will take a 30 minute carrot break from 3:00 – 3:30 p.m. (6001 Airport Blvd)

Chick-fil-A North Mopac -- Saturday, March 23, 1-2:30 p.m. Community Egg Hunt. Children 3 and under: 1-1:30 p.m. Ages 4-8: 1:45 - 2 p.m. Ages 9-12: 2:15-2:30 p.m. Children must be accompanied by parents at all times. (12501 North Mopac)

Southwest YMCA Easter Egg Hunt -- Sunday, March 24, 1 - 3 p.m. FREE family friendly event, no membership required. (6219 Oakclaire Dr.)

Community Easter Egg Hunt -- Thursday, March 28, 4 p.m., Huston-Tillotson University. Children of all ages are invited to hunt for the thousands of eggs hidden around the Huston-Tillotson University campus. The Easter egg hunt features a $500 scholarship prize egg, prize eggs for school supplies and gift certificates, and eggs with candy and coins. Children will gather in the Mary E. Branch Gymnasium for a brief meaning of Easter story time before joining their age groups and beginning the hunt. The event is free and open to the public. (900 Chicon St)

Family Egg Hunt -- Friday, March 29, 10:30 a.m., Hancock Recreation Center. Bring your friends and family and join in on the fun at this year's free Family Egg Hunt. Don’t be late… the hunt starts at 10:30 a.m.! Ages 6 & under will hunt on the soccer field, and ages 7 & up will hunt on the playscape/hill. (811 E 41st St, 41st and Red River)

Community Easter Egg Hunt -- Saturday, March 30, 9:30 a.m., Reznicek Field. Easter Egg Hunt for children of all ages. Kids will be split into age groups, and there will even be prizes for the adults! (401 W St. Johns Ave)

Easter Eggstravaganza -- Saturday, March 30, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., Sunrise Community Church. Free event featuring free food, egg hunt, petting zoo, bounce house, train rides and games. (4430 Manchaca Rd)

Easter Eggstravaganza -- Saturday, March 30, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Southwest Christian Church. This free event will include bounce houses, a petting zoo, and egg hunts for three different age groups. Open to the public. (10500 Old Manchaca Rd)

Bethany's Children's Easter Celebration -- Saturday, March 30, 10 a.m. - noon, Bethany Lutheran Church. This fun Easter fest will include an Easter egg hunt, games, moonwalks, snacks, and much more for little ones to 4th grade, with two egg hunts, wee little ones and big kids, at 10:10 a.m. (3701 W. Riverbend Eggstavaganza -- Saturday, March 30, 10 - 11:30 a.m., Riverbend Church. Join in on the kids Easter EGGstravaganza on Saturday on the Riverbend campus featuring games, snacks and a 12,000+ Easter egg hunt. (4214 Capital of Texas Hwy N)

FUMC Egg Hunt and Picnic -- Saturday, March 30, 11 a.m., State Capitol Grounds. Join First Church and the Easter Bunny for an Easter Egg Hunt and family picnic on the Capitol Grounds at Colorado and 12th Street. Egg Hunt times are 12:00 p.m. for preschool children and 12:45 p.m. for elementary children. Bring your cameras, blankets, Easter baskets, and a picnic lunch for your family! Food will be available for sale in the church parking lot with all proceeds supporting First Church’s Eurasia Mission Team. This event is open to the public, so you may bring friends and some donations for the Capital Area Food Bank! (12th St & Colorado)

Chick-Fil-A Easter Egg Hunt -- Saturday, March 30, 1 - 2:30 p.m., Chick-Fil-A North Mopac & Parmer Lane. Join in on an Easter Egg Hunt divided into age groups: Children ages 3 and under from 1:00 - 1:30; ages 4 - 8 from 1:45 - 2:00; and ages 9 - 12 from 2:15 - 2:30. (12501 N. Mopac Exwy.)

Spring Egg-stravaganza -- Saturday, March 30, 3 - 5 p.m., Triangle Park. Celebrate Spring with the Austin Farmer's Market at Triangle Park with and Easter egg hunt, petting zoo, balloon art, field events and games, arts and crafts, and face painting. Sunrise Easter Service and Easter Egg Hunt -- Sunday, March 31, Pioneer Farms. Join in for a sunrise Easter service in the morning, then an egg hunt in the afternoon at Pioneer Farms' Sprinkle Corner entrance village. There will also be a blacksmithing demonstration from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., an exhibit of historic Texas carriages and buggies, and longhorn cattle in a Chisolm Trail exhibit. Regular admission of $8 per adult and $6 per child over age 2 applies for the egg hunt. There is free admission for the Sunrise service. (10621 Pioneer Farms Dr)

Easter Egg Hunt -- Sunday, March 31, 10:15 - 10:45 a.m., Central Christian Church. Free Easter egg hunt, open to the community. Pictures with the Easter bunny and arts & crafts from 9:45 - 10:15 a.m. The egg hunt begins at 10:15 sharp! Easter service to follow in the sanctuary at 10:50 a.m. All are welcome to join in. in.gredients Easter Egg Hunt -- Sunday, March 31, 12 p.m., in.gredients. Let your little ones search high and low for treat-filled eggs (don't worry, they're compostable and eco-friendly!) There will also be hot coffee and brunch-style treats for the grown ups. (2610 Manor Rd)

Buda

Spring Eggstravaganza -- Sunday, March 24, 2 p.m., Elizabeth Milburn Park. Bring your basket to hunt for over 79,000 pieces of candy, prizes and goodies (age 12 and under). Bring your own camera and take your photo with the bunny until 2:45 p.m., and enjoy jumping in the inflatable and train rides. There will also be face painting for a fee. Driftwood

Easter Egg Hunts -- Sunday, March 31, 10 a.m., Trattoria Lisina. The restaurant will be hosting 2 Easter Egg hunts on Sunday, one for ages 0 - 4 and one for ages 5 and up. Both hunts start at 10 a.m., but the eggs go fast so arrive early! (13308 FM 150 West, Driftwood)


Georgetown

Eggstravaganza -- Saturday, March 23, 9 a.m., McMaster Athletic Complex in Georgetown. Bring your basket for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt! There will be 25,000 candy eggs to gather and a grand prize egg for each age division. Each age division will be assigned a specific softball field to carry out their hunt. Age categories are 2 & under, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10. The horn sounds promptly at 9:00 a.m. Please arrive at McMaster Athletic Complex by 8:45 a.m. Primrose School in Georgetown will also be raffling off a FREE children’s bike! (101 W. L. Hutto

Easter Egg Hunt -- Saturday, March 30, 9 - 10:15 a.m., Fritz Park. Children of all ages from all over Hutto and neighboring communities are invited to greet the Easter Bunny and Hutto Hippo and hunt for goodies on the hill at Fritz Park. Prize eggs will be hidden on the hill for hunters to find and turn in to claim a prize. Hunts are split into age groups: 0 - 3 at 9:15 a.m., 4 - 6 and Adaptive ages 0 - 21 at 9:30 a.m., 7 - 8 at 9:45 a.m., and 9 - 10 at 10 a.m. Children age 0 - 3 and the Adaptive age groups are allowed one parent or guardian to assist them. Lakeway

Eggstravaganza at City Park -- Saturday, March 23, 2 p.m., City Park. The event will kick off at 2 p.m. with a petting zoo, the Easter Bunny, and music from special guest, Darren Peterson. Age specific egg hunts will begin at 2:45 p.m. with the 7 - 8 year olds, followed by the 5 - 6 year old group at about 2:55 p.m., the 3 - 4 year olds around 3:05 p.m., and the 1 - 2 year olds at approximately 3:15 p.m. Kids can also enjoy cookie decorating and glitter tattoo artists. New Braunfels

New Braunfels Egg-Stravaganza -- Thursday, March 28, 6 - 7:30 p.m. Forget the mess at home and decorate your eggs at the annual Egg-Stravaganza. Bring your own eggs and $2/decorater. There will be LOTS of unique decorating stations. Call 512-221-4370 to register or for more information.


Pflugerville

Pflugerville Spring Pfling -- Saturday, March 23, noon - 3 p.m., Heritage Park. The Parks and Recreation Department has combined the ever popular Spring Pfling with the Easter PFestival. Celebrate the components of Pflugerville's Eco initiatives; learn about Parks and Recreation Programs for the year; and browse vendors sharing Pflugerville's local opportunities for fitness, healthy living, landscaping and conservation. There will be plenty of family fun with facepainters, petting zoo, moonwalks, and balloon clowns. All the children are invited to bring a basket and hop along the bunny trail to the local vendors to gather Spring goodies. (901 Old Austin Hutto Rd.)

Round Rock

Play for All Special Needs Egg Hunt -- Saturday, March 23, 9 a.m., Play For All Abilities Park. The first ever special needs Easter egg hunt is a family-centered event, focusing on active participation for children with various disabilities or limitations. Siblings are welcome to participate in the hunt. This event is free, but pre-registration for is required, as there are a limited number of participants allowed in each hunt. No event day registration will be allowed. You may pick up your egg hunt wristband on March 21 and 22 at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center or on site the day of the event. Please bring your registration confirmation to pick up your wristband. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your hunt time to ensure that you are able to attend your designated hunt time. Brushy Creek Egg Hunt -- Saturday, March 23, 10 a.m. - noon, Cat Hollow Park. The District invites everyone to the Annual Egg Hunt at Cat Hollow Park. Hunt eggs with delicious candy inside. Age-specific egg hunt groups will start promptly on time so don't be late! 0-3 years starts at 10 a.m.; 4-6 years starts at 10:15 a.m.; 7 years and up starts at 10:30 a.m. FREE activities include pictures with the Easter Bunny (bring your own camera), bounce house, bounce slide, face painting, craft table, trackless train, and family sack races. Flashlight Egg Hunt & Movie in the Park -- Thursday, March 28, 6:45 p.m., Old Settlers Park Lakeview Pavilion. Shine your light to find the golden eggs you can redeem for a special prize basket, then stay for the movie in the park. $4 early registration (through March 22), $5 late registration (March 23 - 27). This event is pre-registration only! No event day registration allowed. 6:45 p.m.: Twilight Egg Hunt for ages 0-4. Only one parent will be allowed in the hunt ring to assist; parent must stay with hunter at all times (registration #20534). 8:15 p.m.: Flashlight Parent Assisted Hunt, Ages 5 and up.
