San Antonio Weekend Best Bets This Weekend

Sand Sculpture Exhibit
Chalk art, a tide pool display and zen gardens are just some of the intriguing attractions to take in during the opening weekend of the San Antonio Botanical Garden's Sand Sculpture Exhibit (on display through March 23). Remembering the Alamo
Living history interpreters will take you back in time as they reenact the Battle of the Alamo, complete with period clothing and the firing of black powder rifles, muskets and cannons. Get a look at what life was like in 1836 and a new understanding of what soldiers went through during the 13-day siege at the Alamo. Schlitterbahn Spring Break
Schlitterbahn New Braunfels is opening for its first-ever Spring Break week with exclusive access to its Blastenhoff section. Lounge on the beach to get a pre-summer tan, get your adrenaline pumping at Blastenhoff tower or twist through the water on the Black Knight. Pucks & Paws
Join the San Antonio Rampage for its seventh annual Pucks & Paws game. The San Antonio team will face off against the Charlotte Checkers. Fans are encouraged to bring their pup to the game, with partial proceeds from the event benefitting the Alamo Area Partners for Animal Welfare. Water and relief stations for your dog will be set up in the Bud Light Courtyard, and there are plenty of fun game-time activities planned for you and your pet.
