Gluten, Gluten-Free, Wheat - Are These Okay?

We've all heard Gluten-Free!  This term is becoming more popular over the years.  Or maybe you've been wrapped up on your past diets with instead of eating White Bread, you opt for Wheat or instead of eating White Rice you opt for Brown Rice.  After all, it's healthy right??

According to Dr Mark Hyman, Gluten which is hidden in many of our breads, flour etc is a major contributor to obesity, diabetes, heart disease, dementia, depression and more!

Supermarkets contain walls of wheat and corn disguised in literally hundreds of thousands of different foods.  Wheat & Gluten contain starch - super fattening, gluten - inflammatory & drug - yes, like sugar it's addictive and makes you crave and eat more.

The increase of Gluten in the last years is due to dwarf wheat that is grown in the country, creating higher gluten content and more of the gluten proteins that cause celiac diseas and autoimmune antibodies. Which of course cause inflammation and damage our gastrointestinal tract.

Eating Gluten Free Food doesn't mean that it's good for you or a healthy alternative!  Gluten free cakes, breads or cookies are still cakes, breads & cookies!

I'm not saying - never eat again!  Make better choices.  Try having an Organic / Natural Oats once a week or less - instead of sugar impacted oatmeal daily.
