Walmart announced that they will be ending their in-store price matching on June 9, 2016! Walmart indicated that this change will be effective in 500+ stores. Walmart says it is implementing long-term price rollbacks on thousands of items across the affected stores to offset the policy change.
Deal seekers can still grab price match savings through Walmart’s money saving app Savings Catcher. Savings Catcher compares your receipt to advertised prices from top stores in your area, and if it finds a lower advertised price, you get the difference on an eGift Card. All you have to do is enter your receipt and Walmart does the work for you.
