Bumble Bee Tuna & Albacore Recall

Bumble Bee Foods has issued a voluntary recall on certain tuna products due to loose seals.

The recall is related to 5-ounce Chunk White Albacore and Chunk Light Tuna products.

The company issued the recall because the products do not meet standards for seal tightness. According to the FDA, loose seals or seams could result in product contamination by spoilage organisms or pathogens and could lead to illness if eaten.
