Official City of San Antonio July 4th Celebration – 2013

Bring the entire family and join us for the biggest and best party in town celebrating our nation’s birth and our freedom. On Wednesday, July 4th, families are invited to participate in a fun-filled day of games, food and musical entertainment. The City’s official July Fourth Celebration is a FREE event sponsored by the San Antonio Parks Foundation, in cooperation with the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department. And with the City’s permission, this year’s celebration will include those rockets’ red glare!

On July 4th, more than 100,000 people gather at Auditorium Shores for the largest Independence Day celebration in Austin. The Austin Symphony will be under the apt baton of ASO Music Director Peter Bay. The Austin Symphony July 4th Concert and Fireworks features patriotic music and the ever-popular 1812 Overture and spectacular fireworks over Lady Bird Lake.

The Austin Symphony’s 37th Annual July 4th Concert and Fireworks — planned and produced entirely by the ASO — is free and open to the public. The Austin Symphony Orchestra will begin performing at 8:30 p.m. and the fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m., ending at 10:00 p.m. Come early, bring a picnic, claim a grassy spot and enjoy the patriotic music of the Austin Symphony Orchestra. Concessions will be available on site. (Sorry, alcohol and glass containers are not permitted in the park.)

Riverwalk July 4th Arts and Crafts Show 2013

The City of San Marcos is hosting the most exciting community independence celebration along the banks of the beautiful San Marcos River. This FREE event will feature live entertainment, food booths, children’s activities, children’s costume competition and parade.

Summerfest will be held on the grounds of San Marcos Plaza Park, same location as Sights of Sounds of Christmas. Rain or shine, festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a variety of musical and family entertainment until 10:00 p.m.

Lockhart July Fourth Extravaganza

Every year ON July 4th since 1992, the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce has had its annual Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza in the City Park to celebrate our Nation’s birthday. Thousands come to watch yearly and the event would not be possible without the help of many generous sponsors. This year our Gold Sponsors are the City of Lockhart and First Lockhart National Bank. Our Bronze Sponsors are Bluebonnet Electric and Sage Capital Bank.

Red, White and Buda Independence Day Celebration. Children’s parade in the morning with free activities at City Park following the parade. Parade line up begins at 8:30 am. in the parking lot next to Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant on Main Street. Anyone can participate, no registration required, just show up! Decorated bikes, wagons, scooters, strollers and more will take a short parade route to City Park starting at 9am. Concessions provided by Buda Chamber of Commerce. Evening Fireworks at City Park starting at 9:30 pm. Leashed and licensed pets welcomed, but please remember to pick up after your pet! ? For more information call 512-295-7170.
