Inspired by the antique Uzbek Suzani embroidered hangings, which embrace a combination of decorative stitch patterns and motifs of the sun, the moon, and the earth; Kalam was born. Kalam combines the traditional Suzani motifs with more updated metropolitan flair. Natural dye colors of Cochineal, Madder, and Pomegranate inspire hues of deep red and rose. A chic comforter is trimmed with jeeyak woven ribbon and textural in hand.
