I read this book last summer and the first half of the book was a little hard to get into, but then once it took a turn - it became very addictive. The book does follow along pretty close to the movie, if you've seen it....I love it since it was filmed in the town Cape Girardeau, MO I was born and raised in. Watching my husbands reaction to the end of the movie was priceless...
